Ice Ice Baby
Went Ice Skating with Grace today. 2 hours, we bought gloves. pink and purple. took me a while to get used to the ice. but it was good. i think alot of the guys were there to pick up or impress the girls... which was amusing. lots of older people doing figure skating. should find someone who can show me how to do cool stuff on ice... it's hot when you go outside again.
I'm still a tourist!
Friend of a friend came by singapore, so i showed him around abit, means i can be a tourist and take over 100 photos in 2 days. shocking. went to sentosa, but it started to piss down with rain, so i didn't get to see the musical fountain..... again... and we went orchid, suntec to see the worlds largest water fountain, the merlion, the esplanade, sim lim square and bugis.
Law Ball
Yes, went to the law ball yesterday. i had no expectations at all, which means that my expectations were exceeded, which was good. i felt sorry for the nomenees for the law ball king and queen. they had to do a fasion show, and answer questions and sing...... all very amusing.... knew some of the local students there so was able to talk to them for abit. that was good. after we went to Fullerton Hotel for some drinks. very nice hotel. but then i smelt like cigarets... grrrrr.... thats really irrtating....

Answers to Questions in the Sony Walkman Tent with the DJ guy asking the questions and racheal and myself screaming out the answer with such enthusiasm....

A"It doesn't matter!" (mostly because i didn't know thier names..hahhahaha)
They gave us free food and wine and softdrinks. it was good. the concert was good. the lights were great, loved how they made it in sync with the drums. played some songs i knew, played some songs i didn't know. but it was still ok. a sea of black heads. they looked like spiders. quite scary....
The official afterparty was at zouk, but that place is just crap.... so didn't go there. the guy also said he was throwing a party at the continental hotel and there would be free food. didn't go, wasn't hungry, and didn't feel like it..... not sure if he was lieing or not (but i don't think he was....)
Jail bird
Went to Changi Prison for administration of criminal justice class. but its really funny to tell the taxi driver we want to go to changi prison, he went "HUH!" and Shannon had to get a taxi to go airport, so she booked on in advance, and the operator couldn't believe what she was saying, so started laughing. it was very interesting. we took a prison bus into the main prison (didn't get a pic of the prison bus) and we saw the work factory, the make parts for refrigirators and they stared at us, which was rather intimidating, and we saw thier living quarters, they have no beds, and we got to question some prisoners. really very intersting...
Over Sensitive?
I think i have regressed in the past year, i've become overly sensitive about peoples actions and become offended too easily by what they do. but you know some people are just so stupid you can't help but be angry at them. Just found out that someone lied to me, and pretended to be my friend so now i'm annoyed at that person. inconsiderate,unthoughtful, kniving,schemeing, rude, stupid, doens't listen to reason. ugh. people are annoying..... i want to find a guy who is the total opposite of all that. Where are you huh?
LIZARD!!!!!!
I came after a long day at uni, 10am to 9 pm, was about to take a shower, and to my horror there was a lizard on the ceiling! i wasn't going to shower with a lizard perving on me! so i ran and told my sis and my bro in law came to look at it. he decided the best course of action was to flick it with rubber bands until it fell to the floor, and then pour boiling hot water over it to kill it. i felt so sorry for the little critter............. maybe if its lucky, it'll just be disabled and not dead.......
Scandinavian Young Professional Party
Lionel took me along to this very random even, table 108 in chijmes. it was really fun, lots of scandinavians there, met a handful of people at NUS. and there was belly dancing. nice place, spent the whole night drinking vodka something. i think i really am going to become an alcoholic coz after 4 drinks i was still ok. building up my tolerance...after we all went to loof, which is a rooftop bar. very nice place, there are trees up on the 3rd floor, which i found facinating.
Law Bash Flop
went to the law bash at indochine, what a flop. so boring, all the people were standing around the dance floor to afraid to dance. they did a parade of all the candidates for the law king and queen, couldn't really see, so can't tell if they were good looking. saw some of my international friends. so decided to ditch the law bash and go to dbl 0. had to sneak shermain in since she's not even 18 yet. free entry free flow, unfortunatly was sick so couldn't drink much alcohol. dbl0 was much better, better people, better music, better alcohol. yes after db 0 closed we went down to some other club down the street, full of malays, not as fun, so we went home.
